Hey there, Horror Hounds!
Ringo Award Nominations recently opened up, and you're all eligible to vote.
Wouldn't it be swell if NIGHTMARE THEATER 3D was nominated? Then you could say you backed a Ringo-nominated book before it was cool (or, uh, nominated).
Please take a minute to write in NIGHTMARE THEATER 3D for Best Anthology, and consider naming one of our fantastic cover artists (Steve Bryant, Conor Hughes, Mexifunk, Ginger Seehafer, Emanuele Taglietti) for Best Cover Artist.
The book came out great, and we think all our hard-working contributors deserve this recognition:
Thanks again for all your support. These books wouldn't exist without you!

ONLY ONE WEEK LEFT! Carmilla Unbound: 1984 "Miami Bites" is bloody good fun!

Hello Vamp Lovers,
David here. Just wanted to say a quick hello and let you know that the Carmilla Unbound: 1984 "Miami Bites" Kickstarter campaign only has ONE week left.
So, if you're interested in badass vampire vengeance set in the pink and blue neon lights of mid-80's Miami, this is the book for you. Written by Clay Adams and myself, featuring amazing art by Erik Tamayo and bold colors by Alex Zeif, with variant covers by the likes of Mexifunk, Flops, and Dravacus.
"Carmilla Unbound: 1984" follows the adventures of Carmilla Karnstein, a centuries-old vampire navigating the city's underbelly. Like a vampire Dexter, she's been using her powers to rid the world of evil, one bad guy at a time. But times have changed, and as her targets have gotten richer, Carmilla finds herself in a dangerous game of survival against a demonic force...
Based on the erotic novella by Sheridan Le Fanu that inspired Bram Stoker's vampire tale 26 years later, CARMILLA UNBOUND: 1984- Miami Bites is for those who think Dracula was a little dry and needed a bloody transfusion of graphic, sapphic sex and virtuous violence.
Carmilla Unbound: 1984 "Miami Bites" is a 28 page one shot written by Nightmare Theater creators Clay Adams (Blazing Blade of Frankenstein, Red X-Mas, Deadskins, Prodigal Son) and D.E. Schrader (Baby Badass, Rafael Garcia: Henchman, Cannibals on Mars), and featuring the sumptuous art of Erik Tamayo (Zenescope's Robyn Hood Mystere, IDW's Star Trek) and electric colors by Alex Zief (Cult of Dracula, Hatchet, Monster Matador).
Featuring covers by Don Nguyen & Wes Hartman, Dravacus, Mexifunk, Leeahd Goldberg, and Flops
We hope you'll join us for another rip-roaring Carmilla adventure. Click any of the images to check out our preview and full selection of covers, or...

Hello Everyone,
This is David—giving Clay a break from giving all the updates and keeping everyone informed as Nightmare Theater 3D made its journey from crazy concept to hard copies in our horror-loving backer’s hands.
This graphic means most, if not all of you, now have your copy of NT3D or should receive it soon.
If you purchased a poster, please note that those are shipping separately and will likely go out next week.
I personally want to thank every one of you for your patronage, patience, and loyalty to the Bloodline Comics brand. We’re still in our infancy, but Clay and I are proud of the trilogy of horror cinema-inspired anthologies and quality one-shots we’ve brought to our readers.
We really wanted to go out with a bang with this book and making it all in 3D was an arduous, but ultimately correct, choice. It turned out super cool, with a murderer’s row of talented writers and artists bringing the gore in three-dimensional terror.
Special thanks to Shawn Gabborin, not only for lending his story-telling talent, but also his expertise in prep for the 3D printing process. We couldn’t have done it without him.
These are trying times. Horror as a genre is often dismissed in many ways, but the value of a good jump scare, a twisted tale, or a bloody romp is immeasurable as it offers pure escapism and a way to cope with real life terror, of which there is simply too much.
We hope you enjoy this Final Chapter of the blood-soaked series and stay turned for the next adventure of our anti-hero vampiress, Carmilla – launching soon!
Set against the vibrant and decadent backdrop of Miami in 1984, "Carmilla Unbound: 1984" follows the adventures of Carmilla Karnstein, a centuries-old vampire navigating the city's underbelly. The story begins with Carmilla arriving in Miami, reminiscing about her past exploits and ready to indulge in the city's vices. As she settles in, a series of gruesome murders attributed to the "South Beach Killer" catches her attention. Carmilla's path crosses with that of Rylend Grant, a wealthy and charming man, and Paul Allen Bale, a powerful and sinister figure who turns out to be more than he seems.
Thank you again for your support. We look forward to scaring and entertaining you for a long time. Come and play with us, Readers. Forever. And ever. And ever.
Best,
D.E. Schrader

Today I received a birthday surprise: a phone call telling me to hurry to Bloodline HQ because a huge truck had pulled up with a pallet full of nightmares...
I spent my afternoon unloading boxes into my cramped office space... and then had to dig myself out.
But not before I dug on some NIGHTMARE THEATER 3-D:
IT'S LIKE IT'S COMING RIGHT AT YOU!
Horror hounds, I'm thrilled to report that the 3-D looks even better in real life than I imagined it would. Shawn Gabborin did a tremendous job with the conversion and we are so grateful to have him on the team.
We know you waited a long time for these books, and it will be well worth it!
